The foundation of the Bermel von Luxburg Gallery is the fusion of two talented visionaries - Mario Bermel, a passionate art collector and international art dealer, active all over the world, with a focus on the art centers Berlin and Paris, and the family von Luxburg, who out of tradition mediates art internationally.
The gallery is specialized in international modern and contemporary art and transmits Art on the highest level.
The criteria of high artistic and aesthetic value is the key approach to see art of different historical and cultural backgrounds as a timeless expression of beauty.
Bermel von Luxburg Gallery takes part at international art fairs and advises important collections.
The gallery exchanges and organizes international exhibitions between Berlin, Paris, London, Seoul and Tokyo.

Bermel von Luxburg Gallery also collaborates with the new Samurai Museum Berlin. Aleksandra von Luxburg and Mario Bermel act as Contemporary Art Curator & Advisor for the private collection of Peter Janssen in Berlin. Both plan important exhibitions of contemporary artists at the Samurai Art Museum and help to spread the passion for Japanese culture.
The Gallery is member of the Landesverband Berliner Galerien.
Our TEAM
Minkyung Choi joined Bermel von Luxburg Gallery in 2022 and has an active role in building artistic and cultrual bridges between Europe and Asia.
As an International Project Manager, she supervises all main projects between Berlin and Seoul.
Her studies in Spatial Design and Furniture Design at the Hong-ik Art College in Seoul, and her previous experiences in curatorial and scenographical projects at prestigious Museums such as the Pergamon Museum in Berlin, the Deutsches Museum in Munich, the Kölnisches Stadtmuseum and the Munch Museum in Oslo are an invaluable asset in our young and dynamic team.
With long and rich experience in international exhibition production Tom has been a integral part of BvL Team since the beginning.
